We may offer Amazon gift cards in exchange for 30 minutes to an hour of your time to collect feedback on the waitlist version of the product. When selecting members from the waitlist, we prioritize US-based frequent travelers.

Founding members selected from the waitlist will be treated as a special cohort for the lifetime of AutopilotVacay. You helped shape the experience for all future members. If prices ever change or new features get added, founding members will not see price increases and will remain at whichever price is cheaper.

You can add up to 10 family members or friends to your account to plan trips together. We also offer $10/month for those who prefer more flexibility. Monthly subscribers can pause anytime and only pay for months they actually use.

One membership covers your whole crew—up to 10 people. Here's how it works: invite family or friends to your account, and each person completes a quick preference quiz about their travel style. When planning a trip, you select which members are joining. Our AI then blends everyone's preferences—dietary needs, pace, interests, budget—into one unified itinerary that works for the whole group. We also factor in how much togetherness your group wants: if some travelers prefer solo time or have interests others don't share, we'll suggest natural moments to split up and regroup. No more endless group chats debating every detail. One account, unlimited trips, everyone's preferences considered.

We have a rate limit of 100 itinerary requests per month, which is about 10 times what we expect even a frequent weekly traveler would need. This limit exists to prevent abuse of our systems, not to restrict normal use. The intention is that no member using AutoPilotVacay in good faith should ever hit this cap. If you have a legitimate reason to create more itineraries for your group, reach out and we're open to raising the limit on a case-by-case basis. We will also adjust the limit in the future if we find it to be too low for our members.

Most travel sites are "free" because they make money recommending hotels and flights that pay them kickbacks, not necessarily the best options for you. We charge $60/year so we can recommend based purely on your preferences with zero bias. No affiliate fees, no sponsored placements, no hidden agenda. Your typical trip costs $1,500–$3,000+. If we avoid one bad hotel choice or save you hours of planning, the membership pays for itself many times over. We also offer $10/month for those who prefer monthly billing.

Generic AI chatbots can suggest trip ideas, but they often hallucinate prices, recommend places that don't exist, or give outdated information. We actually provide that type of generic content for free on our destination pages for the United States and Canada because we believe our personalized offering is that much better. The real value is in itineraries built around your specific preferences, budget, and travel style, not cookie-cutter suggestions anyone could get for free.

Your itinerary includes direct links to book each flight, hotel, and activity. You click through and book directly with the providers. This keeps you in control and means you earn your own loyalty points and protections. Full integrated booking is on our roadmap for the future.

Absolutely. Swap activities, change hotels, adjust the pace, add rest days. AI suggests, you decide. And please do review your itinerary carefully before booking. We don't always get it right for everyone, and you know your preferences best.

If you're on the monthly plan ($10/month), use our pause feature. With one click, pause your subscription and you won't be charged for months you don't use the service. Unpause whenever your next trip is on the horizon. If you travel a few times a year, the annual plan ($60/year) is usually the better value, and it works out to just $5/month.

Yes. Cancellation is a transparent two-click process, readily accessible in your account settings. No hoops to jump through, no guilt trips, no calling a phone number. If you cancel, you keep access through the end of your current billing period. We want you to stay because you love the service, not because we made it hard to leave.

Our AI learns from your choices: which activities you pick, what you skip, feedback you give. Over time it understands your travel style. We don't sell your data to advertisers or use it to push sponsored recommendations. It's used solely to make your trips better. You can delete your data anytime from account settings.

We do not share any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, ip address, physical address, frequent flyer numbers, etc with foundational AI companies. Before sending any queries to AI providers, we strip out personal details and make requests as anonymous as possible. Your travel preferences help build your itinerary, but your identity stays with us.

Since you book directly with providers (airlines, hotels), you'll work with them for any issues like cancellations, changes, or refunds. We provide their contact info in your itinerary. Our role is the planning; you handle the booking relationship. Always review your itinerary before booking to catch anything that doesn't look right.

We built this because we were tired of drowning in browser tabs and biased recommendations. We charge a simple fee so we can be on your side, not the hotels'.
